Editing your profile: Avatar, name, and time zone

When you first sign up (or have been invited to) ProcessKit, you will be prompted to complete your personal profile.

If you ever need to edit your profile, you can always do so by using the pull-time menu at the top-right and clicking "My Profile".

Your display name

If you fill in your first and/or last name, then that is the name that other users will see when you're referenced in the app.  If you leave these blank, then your email address will be shown as your display name.

Your avatar / Gravatar

If you've set up a Gravatar image at gravatar.com and associated that with the email address you used when registering for ProcessKit, then ProcessKit will automatically use that as your profile image.

Alternatively, you can upload your own profile image when editing your account.

Your time zone

When editing your account, it is strongly advised that you select your local time zone.  This will ensure that when you view dates and times in ProcessKit, they will be in your local time zone.

Don't worry, this setting won't impact how dates and times display to other users in your account.  Each user's time zone setting is unique to their own profile.

For example, if you live in New York and your teammate lives in California, then a task that appears to be due at 3:00pm EST for you will display to your teammate as being due 12:00pm PST.
