Apply tags to projects

Tags are great way to organize your projects and associate them with different things.

For example, a common use-case is to use tags to organize your projects by which client they're for.

A project can have multiple tags assigned to it.  You can filter your list of projects by tag(s).

Creating new project tags

You can create new project tags in any of the following ways:

  • When you're viewing your "Projects" list, on the left side you'll see your list of "Tags".  Click "New Tag" to create a new tag here.
  • When viewing your "Projects" list, click the "..." on a project in the list to manage its tags.  Here you can create and apply a new tag to that project.
  • When viewing a single project, under its "About" section, you'll see the "Tags" section.  Click "+" to add a new tag and create a new one while you're at it.

Applying tags to projects

You can apply tags to projects from one of two places:

  • When viewing your "Projects" list, click the "..." on a project in the list to manage its tags.  Here you can apply tag(s) to the project, and/or create new ones to apply.
  • When viewing a single project, under its "About" section, you'll see the "Tags" section.  Click "+" to add a apply tags to this project and/or create new ones.

Filter your list of projects by tag

When you're viewing your list of projects, on the left side, click any tag in your list to filter the list by that tag.  You can filter by multiple tags.  To go back to viewing all projects with all tags, click "show all".
